  • route from Flickr-Crafjuice-Blog?

So until I manage to set an Etsy shop up, is there a way I can encourage visitors to my Blog if they like the piccies of my things on Flickr and/or Craftjuice?

Without a website or an Etsy outlet yet, I'm just trying to get my Blog address out there for the time being so people at least know how to reach me. I wondered if there was a way I can add its address to my Flickr and/or CJ entries? Do I just bob it in the comments or is that a no-no?

    Thanks FFs!

What you could do is put your blog address in your profile on flickr with details of how they can contact you if they are interested in buying something. You could also put that you are opening an etsy shop soon, so check blog for updates?
On the actual pics ones that you would want to sell you could put see profile for details - I have seen quite a few people do this. Although on flickr im sure it lets you put a web address on the actual pic so you could just add the link when you upload your pics. So it would lead them straight onto your blog.
With craft juice you can add a address in your profile section. But Mr M might be able to clarify the rules for that.

        ok..

On your blog use flickr image not blogspot as these are blocked images and can't be used on sites link craftjuice..

Join groups on flickr and post about your pictures and refference your blog..

The point of craftjuice is too add links to your blog (once the images on each page can be read from flickr) this will drive traffic to your blog..

Make sure you update your blog at least once a day..

Make sure the title of the blog post is interesting e.g. "how to make cards in 5 easy steps" vs "my cards"

        Hope that helps

          Brilliant tips, thanks!

I havent joined any groups on Flickr yet so I'll do that. So far I've been putting my pics on Flickr then onto Craftjuice then updating my Blog daily - but when I've added my photo to my Blog, I've just done it through my browser on my own PC
