  • Finding an address

I have had an order and cheque through the post but the lady hasn't included her address.

I obviously have her name and all the details contained on a cheque, is there anyway I can find out her address from this? Was thinking about phoning her bank but I can't imagine they're allowed to give out customer addresses. Do you think they'd be able to pass a message onto her or is that hoping for a bit too much?

    Help!

I'm pretty sure they wont give out the address, but you could try and get them to pass a message on or see if they have a telephone number for you to contact her.

    Cheers.

If they won't pass a message on, you may just have to wait until she gets in touch with you. Hopefully when she does, she will realise that the delay is entirely her fault once you explain what she forgot to do.

Good idea.I know the Royal Mail site has a section where you can get the full address if you only have a bit of it, not sure if itl work if you only have the persons name.

Have you tried directory enquires online?

All you need is a surname and a location

The post mark on the envelope was Dundee and the cheque was issued from the Dundee branch so I've narrowed it down everso slightly to perhaps Dundee - Miss Marple's got nothing on me

There is a website somewhere that you can look up anyone on the electoral roll/role, whatever it is..... I myself am not on it, but others may be!
