  • Facebook Liking from Business Page

I know that we started a thread whereby we all liked each others facebook page, but with the recent changes I would like to capture everyone again via my business page, also maybe pick up some new pages as well. I know you could capture from your personal page but I have so much going on in there, I am wouldn't like to miss any of you. If you feel the same way, post below and I shall like everyone who replies.

Hello Rosemary... I've lurked here for sometime but I'm only just starting to sell my crafts 'seriously' as it were... I've just today created a facebook page and popped over here to search for some hints and tips on the best way to use it - which is how I found your post...

I find 'selling' VERY awkward to say the least... 'blush'... I think this is a great idea and hope you don't mind my posting... If you do find the time to stroll along to my facebook page - please excuse the sparse appearance - I do plan to rectify this over the next week or so :-)...

This forum is absolutely brilliant - a lovely bunch of people with fabulous knowledge and a wonderful insight into the crafting world... Thank you everyone for the information posted here.....

            Jenni...

PS - I hope I've managed to pop my facebook page in my signature... fingers crossed... am off to post some 'likes' now too.... Thanks again.x.

                  Hi jennifer

I'm not sure whether you have liked me correctly. You need to click on my facebook page to like me, rather than just like the comment I made, if you know what I mean?
Not that I'm forcing you to like me! It's just I know how confusing it all is when you first start off on there.
It may just be a delay with facebook in which case ignore what I have just written.

I've just liked you, Rosemary, and I'll go and find the others on this thread.

Do you know, I've wondered about this. When fb changed it, I thought it would be great to be able like with my business page, more exposure etc. But I've realised that it clutters it up, so I've gone back to liking from my personal page. I think if a lot of people start to do this, a business page will lose it's identity. I may be wrong, but I'd be interested to see what you all think about it.

The best idea but it's a bit of a chore when your likeing a new page is to do it with your personal page then switch to your business page, hit back space to take you back to the page you were on and relike,......."sighs" now wait till a comment comes up on your personal profile and hide all by clicking on the small X on the comment in newsfeeds. This way you can now follow the newsfeeds on your business page and not the personal profile, your like will also count to the persons list of likers. If you just do it with your business page no like will count for the page your following.

Glenville, can you tell us what you facebook page is, so we can all like it. You can sell through your facebook page (for free), or just use it for promoting. Have a look around at the links on this thread and see what I mean. Feel free to ask any questions.
