Some of you will know (but most of you won't) that i've been keeping my website and craft business a secret from my BF as he's one of those who wanta to see maximum profits with less than minimum pay out, but all of us in the craft supplies business will know it doesn't work like that.

Anyway this week i've had quite a few sales (suprisingly) and it's been very hard getting them packed as he's been home for the last week after having an operation on his hand. Tonight i have told him about my business venture (to a certain degree, i left out the £'s i've spent on stock). Although he's not entirely impressed, he's not dissapointed which means alot to me based on his standards.

This is great news for me as it now means that i can advertise locally without worrying about him finding out.

Thanks Annette, i know it probably seems very trivial to others but it's a great weight off my mind. Hope fully after a few months i won't have to store all my stock in every nook and cranny in the house and keep it all together instead. It'll make paking it up so much easier.

It must be a weight off of your mind - having to sneak about is awful but at least you can now go for it without having to look over your shoulder so to speak.

            Cheers.

                Well done!
Its not an easy thing to do!!

I sort of have the support from my husband - he's quite encouraging sometimes and not so much other times, but at least he does all the post for me (I pack it up tho!)

He just sees me at the table every night madly working away on things (at the moment I have a HUGE greeting card order and I'm about to launch my new website - details will follow hehhe!) and asks when its all going to turn into real money..........

So I'm sometimes economical with what's going on

Well done, at least now you can take it forward and enjoy it without feeling guilty or worrying about him finding out.

Have to say my hubby is very supportive with mine and I know I am very lucky, but he does get a bit fed up with me being holed up in my craft room everynight frantically working through orders, but we are seeing the results at last so he knows he can't argue!

Ha! Try explaining to a wife that you need money to buy more beads! I have to put in an application in triplicate................and that's only if the cat says she's ok for litter.

Have you tried drilling holes and threading the cat litter? Might start a new trend .....

Eh!!! Don't think I would fancy drilling cat crap and beading it onto a necklace somehow!!!!!! Or wearing one made of it for that matter.
