  • Can you help me please? Your advice would be appreciated

In buying our new business we have acquired thousands of gift boxes, which we do not want.

I am thinking of putting them on ebay.

If you were searching ebay, what search terms would you use?

    Thanks

Thanks, the problem with searching "gift boxes" is that you get all the gift boxes including thousands of made up sets etc.

I will put ebay link up when I find time to list them, if I do list them.

I can't pm anyone as it is against forum rules to sell via forum:-)

Its OK to PM Jane, PMs are private but she might want to sell them as a job lot.

I would also spell jewellery/jewelry 'both' ways although I am sure you are only thinking of selling UK there are many who get the spelling wrong. Other words I think I have searched on are - display box, craft supplies, packaging, presentation box

I normally search for 'gift boxes' then narrow down the search into the supplies section, to rule out the ready made 'gift hampers' etc.

Jane, I might be interested in some of them depending on size, cost etc, if you wanted to split them rather than selling the whole lot together.

You could use containers, cartons, packaging, gift boxes and do a few searches for similar items.

Terry, when I first joined the CF, I thought someone had misspelled Jewellery - we spell it jewelry over here. So clear it up for me - how do y'all pronounce it" Jew-ellery?
                      Or jewel-ry. WE say jewel-ry.

We pronounce it both ways CG, Jew-ler-rey. Though with some of our regional accents it often sounds like Jewel-ry.
