  • Just sold my first piece of jewellery

    hi guys
i am so excited because i have just sold my first real peice of handmade jewellery. My friend messaged me and said she needed something with butterflies and as luck would have it i designed and created it 2 days ago. Their my two favourite pieces and im kinda alittle bit sad to see them go. Strange lol. Just wanted to rave about it as im sooo excited.

        Hi!

Well done you ! And that feeling never goes away, it doesn't matter how many items of jewellery you sell you will always get that same feeling every time you make a sale...good itsn't it! I know what you mean though about not letting it go; I have made so many things that I just couldn't part with and have even put lots of pendants into my son's baby box thinking he could have them when he is older!

Best wishes for many more sales

Thanks guys for the support it was only last week that i was thinking of maybe giving up as etsy seems like a no go really. But since a renewed confidence i have organised a jewellery party next month. Im going to stick in a couple of business cards with the items that i have just sold so hopefully itll help to spread the word.

Yes, keep spreading the word wherever you can...and the jewellery party sounds like fun...I have never done one myself but there is plenty of advice on the forum from those who have. But don't give up on anything. These things take a long time and if you keep at it you will get there.

Well done and keep at it, I always find just when I wonder why I bother 2 or 3 things sell and then I'm off again.
