  • Terms and Conditions of sale

    Hi everyone,

My heads hurting... I'm busy trying to write my 'terms and conditions', I've looked at some of the websites on here to get ideas for what I need to include and how to word it, but does anyone know any good links/websites I can get some more info from, or do you know any websites that seem to have it all word perfect? Thanks
    Debbie

    Make them your own!

You are doing the right thing by looking at other peoples websites. Etsy is quite a good place for this. Read through them and pick out the things that are relevant to you and put them in your own words. There are some basics which you will find on all the sites and then there are others which cover you which you might not have thought of.
    Hope this helps a bit.

Have a look at the distance selling legislation 2000 (sorry cant remember the name of it!!) - it tells you what yours and your customers rights are i.e returns etc so you stay within the law.

I think you are taking the right aproach - check out the terms of half a dozen good people, and then create your own covering your own requirements.

It may be that someone at your local Business Advice centre would give it a quick check if you asked.
