  • Which images to use?!Please help!

Could I please have a vote! As some of you may know, i'm very excited as my bags will appear in May's edition of Vogue!! But, the lady has chosen bags that i aint keen on! Please could I have some views from everyone on which images to use?
She has gone for 'multi stripe clutch' and 'oriental clutch', but i have just spent ages changing them to have a white background,(these arn't on my site yet, so you will have to excuse my poor backgrounds) but she likes the wood effect on them!Grrr!
Could I have your advice on favourites please, as obviously I want the public to like

    Thank you!!!!

p.s was going to try a poll but don't know how

      Hi Dee

I have just had a quick look, I have to say, I like the woody background, but then I tend to go more for the eco/natural look - well done by the way for getting in Vogue - let us know which edition it will be in.

Vogue! Well done you!!! How did you manage that???

What is it your looking for a vote on? The wooden background is nice but if you are going to be in vogue, i dont think you should be distracting from the product. I think white background would be best. Someone else suggested somewhere about taking a picture with the item in your bath. Apparently it gives good light! Give that a try and then post the white background so we can get a comparison.

I would imagine that if she spends all her time choosing pics etc for the magazine that she has quite a good idea of what will look good in print. They will probably play with the photos a bit themselves anyway, to make them look their best. So I think I would be inclined to go with what she suggests BUT if you arent happy with it then tell her, and see what she says. You may be able to compromise in some way.

I agree, a compromise sounds about right if you're not happy. I like the wood effect, but don't really know how that would look in a magazine. If you ask for her honest advice and help, there's no reason why she'd do anything but help.

White background is good for some things, but for this, honestly, I think I'd like the wood effect. Like Cb says, they'll probably fiddle with the images anyway, to make them look their best.

Congrats! I know why you're being featured. Your stuff is amazing, I've admired it before.

              New album added-white backgrounds!!!

Thankyou guys, I spend all my spare time aswell as shuffling two jobs to create my bags! So it means alot to have some kind words.
I have just put some images in an album with white backgrounds to see what you think.
I agree i will send her some of the new pics and see what she suggests. I guess she will obviously want what she thinks will look good anyway so i will probably go with her views.
I still cant believe its real! Wont do until I see it! Can't wait!xxx

I like them both but out of the two, the oriental clutch is my favourite. I also like the woody look think it compliments the designs.

Have to say, I prefer the wood background. The white makes them a little washed out and pale.. whereas the wood brings out the colour more and gives them a little more life...

                  ...if that makes sense.

sorry, you had to pay for a feature in vogue?

you must mean that you took out a supplier ad?
