Is anyone listed on here, I signed up but am now getting some really odd business contacts requests, some seem okay. Just wondered if anyone else had used them, mainly used for business promotion etc. Not a social site.

I signed up a while ago too - I delete everything they send me as it looks very dodgy to me!!!

Thanks for that Lisa, thought it was me being over sensitive, think I will clear it all down and try to delete my sub, only joined as it was linked with the speaker at the ladies networking event I am going to in January. May speak to her about this and see what she says. Some of the contacts were okay but one called me lovely and asked for friendship.

I can understand why the web can be dangerous to children.

I joined Ecademy a while ago but I've had similar strange messages which have put me off and quite a lot of spam. I login now and again to see if any of the contacts are genuine and not creepy but so far only a couple have been so I'm not sure how much I'd ever use it.

I know what you mean Gail, I have just requested my account to be closed, not sure what use this activity was but would certainly be wary in the future, thought it may help with business promotion but still undecided what the contacts where all about.
