i dont know if anyone has heard of the places where i have my outlets, bygone times and botany bay, they are craft centres where you can rent space and fill with your stock and they charge a small amount of comission to man it and sell the products for you.

Im looking for more places like this around the uk and wondered if any other crafters have there items in places like this, i know of one in lincoln but thats all i can find, if anyone knows any it would be great if you could leave a note here.

Steer well clear of bygone times. I had a stall for a year made a big loss. Lots of my stuff went wandering, Every time I visited my stall I found stuff from other stalls on mine and my stuff on other stalls. Because your not there to watch it people just pick stuff up and wander round looking at other stuff decide they don't want your piece and put it down anywhere. When I finally packed up my stall I found quiet a bit missing. They never contacted me again to say they found any of it.

Lightphase, your the first person Ive ever heard sing the praises of those 2 outlets, me wonders why?
There are loads around the country, 2 within 4 miles of me. Cawthorne antiques center, Elsecar heritage center.
Tried them both, broke even at best
Most council art galleries will rent cabinet space for a large %. Tried my local one, they priced my goods sky high and didnt shift a thing.
Good luck to you if you can make it work, just hope your not the same team who keep sending me offers of cheap rates at the 2 outlets you mentioned, or Peter may be after you

Botany bay - my experience was a nightmare there, very quiet and very disappointing, When i finally moved out they didnt like it, they had security escort me from the site and half my stock was left there and i still havent got it back

Bygone times - ive been in 6 months now and im in profit, its going really well there and i like the nostalgic feel about the place, the only thing is you cant really work out what sells, there is no set pattern, and the codes they write down mean nothing.

Ive just moved into one in nantwich called Dagfields and thats going well, ive sold 3 big frames this month so im happy so far,

i just need to find more so that i can get more coming in

EDIT - i didnt know anything about them advertising , im in no way in conjunction to them, its just the first places i tried as when i searched google for craft centres they were top of the list
