  • Should I ask them?

Im wondering of I should contact my recnet customers and ask them how they found me and why they liked what they bought.
    Is that too intrusive?
Im just curious, maybe I need to make more things along the line of what has sold?

I think go for it chuck, good idea and I think they'll be quite impressed and flattered that you're not only interested in how they reached you (good advertising research) but to get their feedback on possible future products etc

Let us know how you get on!

....ooh I forgot to mention this before I pressed submit! (doh)

If this is any help, I've just recently done a short questionnaire for therapy clients and besides asking things like how they find out about me, whether they were recommended by anyone (if so, who) I also mentioned that if they recommended anybody to me who subsequently had a session, they'd get a 10% discount off their own next session as a thank you. I also gave them a 1-5 rating scale on a few questions and a freetype space with a box saying any feedback theyre happy to give would remain anonymous and could be used to improve future therapy sessions and on marketing literature unless they preferred it not to - that way you can start building up some comments you could put on your leaflets or website or blog etc

Hi Seahorse. Have you thought about putting a feedback form on your website? That way customers can leave their comments (but make sure you have an option to review them before they get published).

I don't have a feedback form, but have emailed some of my customers and asked for feedback which I have put on my website, after getting permission from them.

You've just reminded me that I should really keep doing this.

Personally I wouldn't just call and ask them what they thought as I'm worried that they may find it awkward if they weren't entirely happy and will put them in an uncomfortable position. But perhaps just call and ask if they would mind sending an email with their comments. That way they have a bit of time to thing about it.

I am quite paranoid by nature and would be worried about getting into an argument with a customer. But that's just me.

          Sorry for rambling :/

If people call me about renting my villa or e-mail me for that matter I always ask where they found me as most of the web site I advertise on cost me money and I need to know what works and what doesn't, Selina
