  • Reduced Prices

Parcel2go have just released a reduction in the charge for using MyHermes and that is now less than the PO. Works out just under £2.79 if you drop the parcel at a collection point or £2.99 if they collect from your door, this is for a parcel up to 1kg with all sides less than 225cm much better than the small package rate with the PO. Now added flat rate to my site.

Be nice if it was the start of an aggressive price war between the RM and couriers!

RM are decreasing their 1-2kg small parcel prices, think they're going from £5 something to £3.80 presumably because myhermes did them at £3.90. However I got an email from myhermes that they will now do 1-2kg for £3.78 so maybe that price war is happening David.

I think it is the start of the price war and agree David as soon as RM reduced the small packages MyHermes did the same though better as the size can be bigger.

do you have to be a business user to get that rate, I've only ever used the post office but would like to find something cheaper

Soz just edited my post as I hit the 2 instead of 3 when I typed one of the prices.

Sunrise, go on the myhermes website and have a look around, I found we had a parcel shop in my village so is ideal for sending parcels, if I had to drive somewhere I'd probably stick with RM for the parcels only a tiny bit cheaper from myhermes.

I would rather use the post office than myhermes. Too many bad reviews about them. I'm not going to risk them with my parcels.

The convenience of having it collected is also handy. Used MyHermes a few times now, only had one item get broken in transit. So wouldn't ever send anything precious or fragile, but they're fine for my gift wraps. The other thing I noticed is that they do take a little longer than RM.
