  • New Craft Group Church Lane Lowton Warrington,Wigan

    Hi All

    Our crafty friends group has now got its new venue. If you are new to the area or need a couple of hours to yourself,or looking for a new hobby start then why not join us for a couple of hours of chatting, crafting and more than likely lots more chatting. The group is very friendly and informal and if you just want to bring your own projects to work on that is fine,but we will also be making mini projects. if you would like to have a go at something different then this will be perfect for you .


    We will be making bags boxes,mini frames,lots of paper and material emebellishments that can be used on all sorts of projects,rag wreaths ,small wall plaques,dreamcatchers,jewellery making ,many card tecqniques and lots more.

    You will have full use of our equipment,cutting machines,stamps,inks,heat guns,fancy edged scissors,punches and lots more
    VENUE; LOWTON COMMUNITY CENTRE (ON THE SAME ROW AS THE CO OP SHOP) CHURCH LANE LOWTON

    This venue is easy accesable from the East lancs Rd(A580) and is not too far from Wigan,Leigh,St Helens,Manchester.Liverpool
    . There is great parking right in front of the venue and good disabled facilities with a kitchen for refreshments.


    As we are a non profit making group all we ask for is a donation of £3.50 per session which will help to cover the cost of the venue,refreshments and trying to buy new crafty bits and pieces for the group to use.
    We will meet every other Wednesday morning 10.15 am to 12.30 pm and are meeting up the first week in FEBRUARY
    .

    Jackie count me in ! If you need me to bring anything In let me know I have a heat gun and stuff and I'd like to do some demos with alchohol markers specifically spectrum noir pens as I believe they are fab I can provide the items needed for this show demos with relation to card making let me know if you want you have my emai

      Hi Laura

      That sounds just brilliant.Just the type of thing the group needs ,other crafters showing off what they are really into .Sharings, hints tips and tecniques is great for this sort of group.I was going to email you tomorrow and still will ,thanks so much Laura and glad you can make it.

              Hi, I am fairly local and more into fabric crafts, embroidery, bit of knitting, applique and patchwork. If your group is open to all crafts then I wouldn't mind coming along?

                Of course you would be most welcome to join us we have a complete mixture of all sorts of crafts from beading, knitting, papercrafts and many others.
                We had our first meeting this Wednesday in our new venue, and all sorts of crafters came along,it was amazing to see all the various crafts that people are working on.

                I will send you a personal email over with all the latest meet up dates and start times etc.
