  • How to make a banner for my website?

    HI,

I've been looking at lovely websites which have gorgeous banners... I have made a banner with Banner Maker Pro (free trial version).. but it has Bannermakerpro in the corner...

Do you know another programme I can use / download free to make a banner for my website?

I think if you can save your current banner there is something in paint you can use to fuzz out the advertising text...?? Tho this is a really rubbish response, as I have no idea what it it called!

    Sorry....

Just get hold of a graphics programme and do your own making sure you use the correct dimensions.

Neres a list of Free Graphics progs... http://www.software.forfree.org.uk/index.php?c=3

I recommend Irfanview, not too complicated but powerful enough!

Gimp is an open source equivalent to Photoshop but may be a bit complex if you aren't used to using graphics programmes. Alternatively go for Paint.net. It's an open source upgraded version of Paint and is rather good.

        Hope this helps

You can design banners from external resources or application. You can generate ideas from already created banners and taglines. Color combination and font style is important for banner design.
