    Hi,

I'm by no means a "Techie" but when I find that something is in the wrong place in my code I write HERE to find out where to put the specific code and then find that word....(I do use MS Word though so can switch between design mode and the page)...

Looking at this bit of the script -

    '../images/homeslide'

I think it needs an address of where your flash image is...

Like I say I'm not an expert but that's my 'common sense' advice

Hope this is helpful rather than being a completely useless bit of nonsense

I don't do flash, so I'm poking in the dark here, but just had another quick look, the <object> tags are placed after the </body> tag, you don't usually put anything there. I would have expected that to sit inside the <head> tags.

Also, I believe <object> tags only work in IE, I think you need <embed> tags for other browsers.

              These links might help....

              http://www.w3schools.com/flash/flash_inhtml.asp

              Bit more complicated from Adobe

              http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/127/tn_12701.html

another really obvious thing - do you have Flash installed?

Hope this helps....I'm feeling your pain...

When i look at the bottom left corner of your home page, You have a white box there....

I hope you don't mind but i saved your homepage to my desktop in order to take a proper look at it in Dreamweaver!

When i open your homepage in Dreamweaver it is trying to put the Flash in the bottom left hand box and not where it is supposed to be - there is actually nothing in the top box!!

I have re-written some code for you to try.

I can't post links yet and part of the code involves links so i have emailed you

Let me know if it works!

HI and thanks so much for your email Jo

I have done what you said but it says error when i preview in a browser, so ive obviously cocked something up there!

should I upload the page to the server and you can have a look or could you possibly put the code in your copy and just send it to me how it should be?

wondered what that white box was!

Is there anyway you could zip up all the components (html file, images files, flash files etc) as they are and email them to me at joannalouise @ ymail.com (without the spaces obviously ) so i can open up the files in their original state

Without seeing them like this, its really hard to tell you exactly you exactly how the code should be/look... i cant really do it properly from just viewing the source...
