    Hi ya,

I've had my website www.morningstarcraft.co.uk running now for a little while, it still needs some tweeking and some of the pages need finishing off, but I've been messing with it for so long now I need some fresh eyes on it I think.

If you could have a look and let me know what you think, wether the navigation, layout etc is ok that would be a great help. Thank you.

    Hi,
Your website looks good to me and I was able to navigate around to look at your items very easily. I don't know anything about setting up websites as I don't have one but the layout seemed fine as well.

Hi, I think the site is great. What a really wide range of products available, and loads of information.

          Hi Amber,

I think your pieces are lovely, but as someone who battles regularly with photographing jewellery I think your photographs are letting you down as they are quite dark.

I'd try brightening them using one of the free software programmes like IrfanView, although you've probably already got something on your computer you can use or try something online like photobucket.

I'd also maybe think about including some measurements for your pieces, as lots of people will not take the time to ask and you could be missing out.

Hi, thanks for having a look and replying, good to know the navigations ok as I showed some friends but they don't use a computer very often and didn't really naviagate through it very easily.

My photo skills do need to be improved, I've recently been trying to take them in natural daylight on a sheet of white paper as suggested on here, I think thats helped a bit, but yes still some work to do, will have a look at the programmes you suggested. I did think about measuring some of the items, still not got round to it yet though, the list of things to do grow and grows doesn't it.

                It never ends!

I take a lot of my photos on a sunny window sill with a piece of white muslin behind (off eBay!) as close to lunchtime as I can to minimise shadows and then touch them up using Windows Picture Manager and Irfanview (weird name!) - I still can't get them how I want them though!
