    Hi guys,

I was offered help on building a website, then the person let me down. So I created one all by myself!!! using fasthosts. I think the site has been live about 6 weeks.

I had a problem with my pics they were far too large and took ages to appear on each page. Now another friend offered to shrink the pics so they appear straight away. Now thats all done, BUT ...... I think the pics are out of focus, even more so when you enlarge them.

    So what do I do!!???!!

I dont think the original photos are stored anywhere as they were all replaced with the smaller ones.

So do I put up with the small out of focus pics, or redo all 50+ pics and put up with them taking a while to appear??

Any thoughts and advice will be most welcome.

    Thanks in advance

Hopefully my website is in my signature as I not posted 25 posts!!!!!

Hello, I might be able to help with the pics as I am a photographer and work a lot with images for the web too.

I haven't had a look at all of them, but the ones I did find that were out of focus, were just that, out of focus. What I mean is that they would be out of focus regardless of how big or small the file is.

I clicked on a view pages and the thumbnails do take a long time to load, but once they are loaded they open quite quickly. Have you uploaded any thumbnails at all as this will really help with the speed of things on your main pages - unfortunately some people just won't wait for more than a couple of seconds before clicking on something else!

I hope this helps, even if just a little bit
