  • OK! It's time to take the plunge

Finally after lots of requests from customers for other outlets that I sell my jewellery at is now available in the form of my website for those who can't visit my gallery/workshop at my home.

Listed is only a small selection of what I do, I am trying to build up a different stock for the website than the stock I take to craft fairs/shows. The reason for this is that for most part my work are one off's. Can you imagine coming home from a fair and trying to remember what has sold in order to remove it from the website, or even worse! coming home to find someone has purchased an item that you sold that day at a fair.

My husband built the website for me with Macromedia, hopefully it's up to scratch. Feedback would be great at this point before getting anymore listed.

    Opps! nearly forgot : Http://www.designedbyfrances.co.uk

    Cheers

Wow Fran I absolutely love your jewellery those necklaces are so beautiful!!!

As for the website it's easy to navigate and the photos are very clear and detailed. My only (slight) criticism is that the home page comes up too big for the screen if that makes any sense.

    Love the colours too btw

      Thanks!

I'll ask hubby to look at the home page sizing. I started off using my dig. camera but it's so time comsuming that I finished with the scanner.

Far to wide.. 780 pixels is what you should build to as the covers all screen sizes.. I could see the nav until I made the window full screen and I have a wide screen.. people without a widesceen wouldn't see the nav until they scroll to the right which no one every does

          Hope that helps....
