Peter Childs seems to be one of the most popular http://www.peterchild.co.uk/pyroinfo/pyinfo.htm I had an address for the Davan maker who I beleive is in Wales, but could be wrong there, but can't find it ATM will get back to you if I come across it.

For some great advise on Pyro we have Si of Wood Tattoos on this forum who has a fab book on the subject ( second one on the way ) There are of course many other published authors you can refer to.

I have the Davan, and the Peter Childs pyro burners. Both are equally as good, although I lean towards the Davan.

As to cost, when new the Davan was the cheaper machine. Like Mo I don't have the address any more but if you contact one of our members LesleyW. It was her who gave me the address of the maker.

Good luck with your new machine when you finally get it... always exciting when it arrives and you want to 'christen' it ASAP!

          All the best,

Don't forget to look at the Hope tools machine, more powerful than the Peter Childs one I believe.
