On the subject of ebay the big boys have found a way round the rules and now when you put in a search, all sorts of stupid things come up ie bidding for a pin for 99p email me for other things you need from the list. Ebay know this is happening. pages and pages of rubbiush to sort through before you can get to what you want but they're getting their money so just turn a blind eye to it, plus their new unfair bidding system I've given up with them

Ebays search has changed so it brings up items relative to the item you are searching for..this ebay believes brings people a wider choice but in reality it just means the majority of buyers give up searching after a few pages.
key word spamming is frowned upon by ebay and can get the seller into alot of trouble, it is quite complicated but as I understand it to list somthing as acrylic/plastic or retro/vintage can be considered key word spamming.
Many sellers of handmade items can also get themselves into trouble as UK law states that if you make an item with the intention of selling you are a busness, to buy items with the intention of reselling makes you a business
Ebay does bring in buyers but IMO the hassle involved with selling on ebay now really isn't worth it.

I am happy to say I made a good decision in Sept and stayed with ebay-I'm not happy about that bit but I rely on people going over to my own website from there which has happened a fair few times so will be staying there until I make enough money from the site to consider it worthwhile leaving
