Well, I do like a good craft book... but I'm well aware of how the publications out there may not live up to the cover story...until I purchased these two metal clay books by the lovely Sue Heaser. It was Sue, a tremendously talented polymer and metal clay artist, who introduced the Art Clay Silver brand to the UK and is the reason why I have my silver clay certificate after all these years.
I recommend this 'toe in the water' title to all of my students, it covers lots of techniques in my own classes such as all the basics of texturing and cutting out to stone setting and antiquing.

This next title is an amazing compendium style book with lots of extra information that isn't included in the first title so as not to overwhelm the reader/avid silver clay beginner. The advice ranges from clay types, including base metals such as copper and bronze, to tools and advanced techniques such as making hinges.
