  • Car Boot Sales?

    Hello,

Has anyone done a car boot/table top sale with there produce? Is it worth it?

I'm struggling to shift my old stock at craft fairs and was wondering if you would suggest a car boot instead? I know they are normally meant for domestic/junk selling so I don't know if I would fit in? A table at a car boot is probably half the price of a craft fair too.

Any feedback would be great, thanks!

I think if you search you'll find more than one thread about this already - and the general advice is they're not worth it. People at car boot fairs are looking for bargains for pennies, crafts don't usually do well.

We tried car boot - never again - people are looking for secondhand bargains or very cheap imported goods.

I'm a huge fan of car boot sales, but as a customer, not a seller. As everyone else says, I'm looking for bargains there. That's not to say that I wouldn't buy craft items if they were there but it would be a purely impulse buy and wholly dependant on my having enough cash with me.
