  • First Bath Fair on Saturday!!

...and the weather is supposed to be awful.

    Dang...it's the one thing I can't control.

Ah well, hopefully Bath will be mobbed with people wanting to come in out of the rain.

    Fingers crossed!

Weather won't put people off ... honestly, Bath is heaving at this time of year. Just make sure to let everyone in the abbey courtyard know you're up the road .... in the warm and dry ..... and they should come. The Bath Christmas market is well known round here .... it will be on the local news in the week.

At least you're indoors ... I'm going to be freezing my wotsit's off in the Cloisters at Lacock Abbey.

I went to Bath this time of year a couple of years ago. There were 500 coaches there that weekend.I've never ever been anywhere that busy, not even London January sales..So as long as you let people know you are there you should sell out!!Have Fun!!!

        Oohhhh Yes....

...the flyers are well in hand, and a crafter's partner will handing them out for us on both Bath Saturdays. What an Angel he is!

Got everything we need on them, including a map!

Good luck Jules but by the sounds of it everything is in hand and you will have a fantastic couple of days.

Fingers and toes crossed for you but sure you wont need them.

            Cheers.

Do us a favour, Jules, when you've finished with the customers, tell them to withdraw more money at the nearest ATM and head one junction down the M4 to visit us at Lacock!

If I get it right, they won't have any money left to withdraw......

I'm sure you'll be inundated with buyers Si, your stuff's great!

There's going to be quite a few forum crafters at Lacock, so the quality should be A*....you'll all sell loads!

In that case, get them to remortgage their house, sell their grandma and auction off a kidney or two before coming to Lacock!!

I'm hoping I have a successful Saturday. Fingers crossed. Thanks for the moral support! I made nearly 400 Xmas Tree decs in the end and nearly glued my fingers together in the process.

                  Si.

The Bath christmas market was opened by Charles and Camilla last night as well as switching the lights on. It was on the local news. My in-laws went to Bath for a meal last night and wished they hadn't because they had a nightmare journey getting in!

Hopefully it will be "kerching" all weekend!
