I was just wondering if any of you sell at charity fairs/events?

I am considering approaching a couple of local charities as they have some fairs early next year.

What is the general rule for selling? Do you just pay for the stand or give a donation or percentage of takings?

    Any ideas?

I've not done any myself but some will take a donation and some will expect a prize to be given away. I'm going to look for some in my local area next year and see what's available.

I am going to one on 1st December at the Dudley Canal Trust (Laura Vickers had posted on this forum about it).

The charity is the Acorns children's one, and Laura has asked for a percentage of the takings.

I will let you know how we get on.
