  • Bargain bin?

What do you think about having bargain bin at the front of my stall? I wouldn't call it a bargain bin though!! I have a couple of chickens that I hav sewn the zips into upside down and stuff like that plus some cards that I made right at the beginning of starting out in crafting. Lots of US sellers do it and they make good sales from it. What do you think?
    Thanks

Bargain bins always work great people love to rummage. I sell wax pot pourri and I hardly sold any, put it in a basket with a price of all £1.50 and it shot out the door!!!

      cheers.

        Yep - go for it!

Do you remember seeing the little basket of little cards I had on my stall - 50p each or 3 for £1.20 - I sold nearly 3/4 of them! And they were only made to use up scraps of card and odd embellishments and die cuts that I found (in my bottomless box!)

You could call it 'In Need of A Loving Home....' rather than bargain bin!

I always have a sale basket at the front of my stall.
You can put anything in it and people do love a sale. Some people only look in the sale baskets even though the stuff in there isn't really that much cheaper,....

i think the word 'sale' does funny things to me - i am willing to pay for things i think are bargain, even if there's only a fraction knocked off!! good idea

Try Poundstretcher, they had quite a selection of lined baskets last time I was in one of the larger stores.

Otherwise you could get an unlined basket and just use some of your wonderful fabric as a loose lining.

                          Bargain Bin

I had a bargain basket at the front of my stall at Pelsall and sold quite a few cards from it. I love a rummage myself! You'll find you have to tidy it up a lot though, and watch out for walker-offers - one lady walked off with three cards in her hand and acted all surprised when I followed her - politely, of course! and asked her if she wanted those cards.....
