  • PAT Electrical testing

Can anyone tell me how they go about getting things like a light PAT tested?

So far I can only find something like £40.00 to test and put a sticker on a light that I want to use to highlight my jewellery!

    Thanks

Do you know any electricians? The one who rewired my house did it for nothing for me. I had just spent several thousand pounds with him though.

I used to have a local electrician who did mine for about £3.50 per item but sadly they seem to have gone. However, some organisers offer this service and I am fortunate that I do a few fairs with one such organiser and get all mine done once a year when I am at one of their shows.

Someone else mentioned on the forum that they went to a tool hire depot and they PAT tested them there.

Thank you all for the feedback.

I did contact several tool hire companies and all but one will test equipment if you take it in. I have found a local company who will do mine for £4.50 per item, so I am very pleased.

          Thanks again,

          Margaret
