  • Hosting A Craft Fair

    Hi

Ive just joined the site. I already have a website where I sell my jewellery and hair accessories. I live on the West coast of Scotland and have been looking for craft fairs to sell my items their seems to be a real lack of craft fairs in this area. So I was wondering what I would have to do to organise one. I have been in touch with the local halls to find out how much it would cost to rent a venue for the day but just wondered if you needed any kind of permission to host a craft fair?? I know there are plenty of people in this area that would attend a craft fair and I know there are a lot of creative people in the area too so what would I need to do? many thanks in advance x

    Put lots of these up:
    CRAFT FAIR HERE TODAY
    ~ FREE ENTRY

But obviously ask permission 1st or you could be arrested for fly-posting: £1000 fine and/or a long custodial sentence. And too right too!

When your show's over do remember to take these scruffy ugly banners down and get rid of any concomitant litter! Leave everything as you would wish to find it.
