  • Crafternoon: Crafters wanted for hands on demos in County Durham area

On May 7th this year, St. Peter's Church Hall in Bishop Auckland, County Durham (postcode DL14 7BB) is hosting a crafternoon between 1:30-4pm.

We're looking for craft makers to come along and show off their skills, talking with the public and, if you'd like, giving them an opportunity to have a go themselves. You can of course sell some of your own produce on the day, but our focus is on the skills that go into making the items.

We are not charging for the stalls.

We currently have the following crafts confirmed attending:
    • Traditional 'proddy' or 'hooky' mat making
    • Bath bombs, soaps and smellies
    • Jewellery design and making
    • Paper bag weaving and bead work

If you are into any crafts that you feel you can talk about, and get people involved in on the day, please get in touch by emailing [email protected].
