  • lack of craft fairs and events in the midlands

im looking but im not seeing, is it just me or is there a lack of fairs and events in the midlands.

i make beaded jewellery of many types using glass, seed bead and wood. wire beaded flowers, decorative pins, bag jinglies, loom woven hair slides,
i have a loose bead stall too so people can buy loose beads to make there own at the event or at home.

so as i combine my handmade products stall with a make it yourself workshop too it takes two tables which makes things difficult.

    can anyone help

I have not noticed a lack of fairs in the mids. but then I don't do many fairs. I know there are several in Rugby but they are mostly small ones. Have you tried Stallfinder, she has quite a comprehensive listing of fairs.

I am hosting a craft fair in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield, but I am full for jewellery this time. But I hope to make this a regular event as I too thought that there is a lack of fairs in the midlands. I advertise on stallfinder about a month before the fair so keep a look out.

I've posted a call for crafters for our Coventry fair -- it's going to be part of the Earlsdon May Day festival on May 2. Please get in touch with me if you'd like to rent a table! Susan - 07761948947 or tractorfeed "at" gmail.com

The Earlsdon festival used to be on Hearsall Common, but this year it's been moved to the high street of Earlsdon. The craft fair itself will be in the Methodist Church on the main traffic circle (just across from the Earlsdon Library). Please visit! It should be a fun day. We still have stalls available and there's lots of activity associated with the festival so there should be plenty of potential customers.
