  • Craft / design / art units available to let - Sheffield

We are looking to take over the old Nichols Building in Shalesmoor at the end of May 2011, and wondered if you would be interested in renting a unit / studio to display and sell your unique items.

The Building used to be an Auction House and Antique Centre, but we are looking to bring it back as an up and coming Design / Arts & Interiors hub, where people can display, buy, sell or just meet up in a relaxing environment for a coffee.

The Centre has an amazing second floor showroom with exposed red brick walls and large arched windows. It will be open 6 days a week, fully managed with an e-commerce website advertising your products worldwide, a cafe and customer parking for up to ten cars.

Depending on the size you require we are starting prices at £100 per month for a 10ft x 10ft unit, and £40 for a cabinet. All bills, insurance and public liability included.

So far we have on board Underground Art, Anderson's Antiques, Retro Sally and The Unique Seat Co.

Let me know if you would like any further information.

Hi, I'm based in Sheffield and could be interested. However it's unlikely I could fill 10ft x 10ft. Will there be any opportunities for smaller display area's?

    Thanks cj

      Hi There,

Yes we will also have cabinets starting from £40 per month, it's a great way to start dealing and you can always increase your unit / cabinet size over time.

      Best regards
      Louise

Would I be right in assuming that if people are paying for their display space then they'd be receiving 100% of their sales?

          Hi Lucy,

          Of course.
If customers pay by credit card there may have to be a small charge, but in my experience, most people go to Antique and Craft centres with cash in their pockets!

Let me know if you'd like any further info, we now have plans and a rate card available by email.

          Best regards

          Louise
