  • Harewood House, West Yorks.

Sorry I have not been around much - frantically busy with craft fairs, bead workshops, PMC workshops, day job, BF, and 2 grandsons.

But, ever a glutton for punishment, has anyone booked for Harewood House Christmas Fayre 2007? I have bookd a stall there for the past 2 years, but this year cannot get an answer to my emails to the organisers (All Star Events). Don't know if they have fallen out with me - I got my car stuck in the mud in the field and they had to get a tractor to tow me out - that'll teach me to lose my temper...., or if they have gone out of business or what.

I would be interested to know if anyone else has managed to book any events at Harewood, and if so, who with.

Oh well, must just finish this bottle, I mean glass, of red, and then I can go to bed ready for the Honley show tomorrow.....

    Can't help I'm afraid.

We used to do Harewood House, was our first ever craft fair - talk about jumping in the deep end!! But 2 years ago when we tried to book it we were told it was cancelled and it was only after that we found out someone else had taken it over, but we hadn't been informed - seems some people were and some not!

Sounds as though its still having problems!

Hey thanks Caroline - looking at the Harewood House web page is just toooo intelligent (why on earth didn't I think of that????)

Honley was good (if a little hot in the marquee....) - would be worth contacting them early for next year to make sure you get in.

I shall try ringing Nicola tomorrow.

I already have £5m as I do a lot of workshops within schools and the local government insist on this. We found that it wasn't that much more than having PLI for £1m. We did however drop one venue that insisted on £10m !!!!! now that was a much higher insurance premium.
