How scary is that!! It's not until October so I've got plenty of time to panic before then!! May have another one booked for September so by Oct I'll be a seasoned professional!! I'll be asking for loads of advice just so you are warned!
Congrats. You will love it. Just go with the flow and don't panic. Make sure you have plenty of change and take plenty of food. You end up spending more on grub than you do making money.
Make sure you have plenty of change and business cards, and practise setting out the stall - trust me, its worth it so you run a smooth operation on the day.
Get some good display items - you want the display to be on several levels.
I've also found it helpful to be chatty with customers and other stall holders

Well Done Swirlyarts, you're ahead of me. I'm still waiting for insurance quotes and need to take photos of my "stuff" before i can book and hopefully be accepted by Jules at the Exeter Craft Fairs in August.
now the panic starts - have I got enough stock, have I got too much stock, are my prices too high, too low and so it goes on......
I love doing craft fairs though, even the ones we didn't make any money at!! I was running a caft unit last year so didn't do any fairs. Have really missed them and will get a couple again this year!! Love the social side of them!!
So then, where is your first craft fair?! I'm hoping to do my first in October too, and as we are pretty close location wise I'm wondering if we'll get to meet!!!!
Only cos it seems like everyone else gets to meet up and have a good laff!
Good luck anyway - I'm already worrying too about mine!
October?.............what you doing the rest of the year?..............I dunno...............some people.............no interest in working for a living...................wish I had a craft fair, but it would take me 'till next year to make enough to fill a suitcase! Good luck chuck!
Good luck - I'm sure you will enjoy it. Even when I moan about some I go to, I wouldn't stop going for anything. It's great fun, and yes, quite addictive....
