  • Suffolk / Essex Fairs

    Hey everyone,

Does anyone know of any fairs going on in Suffolk / Essex over the next couple of months? I'm having an absolute nightmare finding anything (that isn't already booked up!) and am getting tempted to start organising some myself!

It might be worth your while joining the Suffolk Crafters group if you haven't already done so. Members of this group often publicise Suffolk/Essex etc fairs on that forum.

However, living in Suffolk myself, I've noticed that things seem very quiet just after Christmas. I expect I'll keep myself busy making lots of new stock for the summer. Also my dad wants me to make new floor tiles for the bathroom!

Hey, thanks to those that replied... I know it was ages ago but I got a bit waylaid over the festive period!
I've actually found a couple now, but am thinking about organising a regular one myself so as soon as I have more details for that I'll let everyone know!

I do craft fairs in Brightlingsea, there are four this year. Not yet full but getting there, so depending on what you make I may have a space available.

Craft Fair - Bury St Edmunds

I work at The Malthouse Project in Bury St Edmunds.

I can't add the link to our site as I haven't posted enough here yet but if you google malthouse st matthew housing our site will come up.

The Malthouse is owned and run by St Matthew Housing (SMH) which is a housing association and charity that provides accommodation and support to people who are homeless or unsuitably housed throughout East Anglia and the East Midlands.

From time to time we hold small events and craft fairs and we are currently seeking stallholders for our craft fair on 26th June 2010 and also to come to our Summer Fete on the 29th May 2010. The events tend to be small but busy with 10-15 stalls (we have limited space) and it is £7.00 a pitch. If anyone is interested then please PM me for more details.

                    Thanks,

                    Siobhan

                      Hi.
I had an invite to the Worlington Fete in May, which I can't do, but I can pass on details if Worlington (Near Mildenhall) is of any use. There is also "Wings wheels and Steam" at Thurston which has a big craft fair tent I assume their web site might give some information.

                      Di.
