  • Christmas craft and gift fair in Leigh

    Hello

I was just wondering if anyone would be interested in attending a craft and gift fair in Leigh - at the new sports village?

    Thanks
    Oriana

If this is Leigh in Lancs/Greater Manchester (I can never work out just where those borders are any more, and they changed them in about 1975!!!), then yes I am interested.

It would obviously depend on dates, and what level of advertising you're planning.

I don't know Leigh very well, so not aware of the venue you mentioned. Do you have a postcode for it so I can look it up? Shouldn't be far for me, though, as I'm on the Leigh side of Warrington.

          Here's The Postcode!

          Hi Everyone,

Just googled the Park Inn which is the new hotel at the Leigh Sports Village and the postcode for that location is: WN7 4JY

Hope this helps with your planning and, Oriana, I would love to be able to support you at an event there dependent on the date & cost of space.

          Kind Regards
          Barbara

This looks like it is ridiculously close for me - just over 5 miles!!

Would love to know when you're thinking of holding it!

Cheers Lightphase! I drove past it today on my way home from Bolton. It is very close to home for me.

                    Hello

I was hoping to hold the craft fair on the 12th December but the hall has been booked for badminton on that day. So it will probably be the 5th or 6th insteads if there is enough interest

Will be going to see the hall this weekend

I don't know about others, but there's a lot going on in the area that weekend - I'm booked in St Helens town centre on the 6th, and Stockton Heath winter market on the 6th.

Would having a craft fair on the 19th Decembeer be to close to Christmas?

Really that would be too close as most people have already bought their presents and cards well before then.

Have you thought of doing it at the end of November instead.

                            I am interested 5th 6th December

                            Hi Oriana,

I am interested in attending on the 5th 6th December. I think the 19th December will be too close to Christmas. I have got fabulous general and occasion greeting cards which are hand crafted cards, art cards and well known designer names which cost much less than High Street prices.

Do you have any other events in the pipeline?

                            Regards,
                            Barbara. (Arteria Cards)

I'm not sure the 19th is too late.

Perhaps it would be for cardmakers, as a lot of people send cards well before xmas. But have you ever been shopping in that last week before Christmas? It's usually chaos!!
