  • Stands at Craft Fairs

    Morning,

I've been trying to figure out a way of making a backdrop for my stand, so that I am able advertise what I am and what I am selling, I need to think of something relatively sturdy but not too heavy or awkward for me to lift , breakdown and transport ( oh... and it needs to be cheap) .

Any ideas from our creative forum would be gratefully received

    Many thanks

What about a folding screens? You could make them from light wood frames with felt or fabric panels and then hang signs or products off it?

      Thanks Tizzy,

That's a great idea, however I'm rubbish at making things like that ! I'll google "folding screens " and see if I can get a bargain.

Ideally I would have loved a fabric wallhanger, but I've google and ebayed and I can't find anything that might work ( I know I could make one myself but I am totally pants at sewing! )

      Thanks for helping out

        Hi

On ebay there's Banner printers who are able to print your graphics, in virtually any format onto vinyl of sizes big enough to be a backdrop.

Not desperately cheap, but won't break the bank either.

        Chris.

I thought folding screen too. (Google display.)
But I have used all sorts mainly on a hang it off a pole idea.
Do think dismantles, rolls or folds up small. It need to fit in the car.

Hi, we recently made a background banner using a yoga mat with cut neoprene lettering and shapes on top. It worked really nicely and is super lightweight & waterproof if you need use it out side. They're also really quite cheap in Tesco and other larger super markets.

            Good luck with it.
