I know this has been asked a thousand times before and I have read several threads on the subject to the point where I now have a huge headache and can't think straight.

I want to renew my PLI, I don't want to go with Ian Wallace (AVIVA) so can anyone recommend another company that does public liability insurance for attending craft fairs.

Please bear in mind I only do about 6 fairs a year so I want to get the price of the insurance down (hence not wanting to pay the £70 that Iane Wallace want). A couple of these fairs are outside.

Any recommendations of good companies to try and those to avoid???

many thanks and sorry to ask a repeat thread!

Try Simply Business. I think it's a broker, rather than an insurance company, but if I remember right someone on here got some quite cheap insurance through them. My OH, who's a potter uses them too, and his is reasonable.

I've just sorted mine, £47 for the year with CMTIA - very easy to do, paid with credit card which cost an extra £1.50. Should get a certificate within 3 days.
