    everyone

I am arranging a few craft fairs at the Palace Hotel in Buxton, the venue is very close to the town centre, the railway station and Buxton opera house, Buxton is a very pretty spa town popular with tourist's and hikers. Tables cost £20. Dates are 20th September, 22nd November and 13th December. If anyone is interested contact me at [email protected] or drop me a message on here including your email address and I will send you the relevant booking form.

    Many thanks

                    Craft fairs

Just to let everyone know I still have spaces available if anyone is interested in any of the dates let me know and I will send a booking form.

There is also limited space left at Matlock on 22 August 2009 this is a busy little town and very popular with tourists and hikers, plus it gets many visitors there over the weekend with the bikers being just down the road in Matlock Bath.

We will be just off Bank Road in the Imperial Rooms, Bank Road is just off the roundabout in the centre. Craft wise we have an assortment including cards, jewellery, blown crystal, teddies, african wicker, dreamcatchers etc.

Ive heard that gets busy too, but no one seems to ever answer his threads. Just wondering if anyone had ever done a craft fair with them. Im thinking of doing one of the christmas ones but it will be my first and Im a little unsure.

I've done one of the Bakewell ones - was ok for me. I had only just started, and given that I hadn't got it right price-wise, display-wise, and product-wise, I think I did fine. I think the touristy season in Bakewell would be fab. I nearly went back last weekend but desperately needed a weekend off!!!

Stuart, the organiser, is a really nice bloke. Doesn't want paying upfront, takes payment on the Sun if you're doing a full weekend, very nice, very supportive, very approachable. He gets the people in, it's a nice atmosphere, kitchen facilities available (so take a cup and a jar of coffee rather than a flask!) and clean toilets you don't have to trek across a field for!!

Some locals seem to do it every weekend. I will be going back!!
