was anyone at the fair in caird hall, dundeee which was on saturday 1st august?

I just cant decide if traveling as far as that woulkd be worth it, did anyone go along to exhibit or browse? was it busy? were people buying? At £30+ a table plus travel expenses iit all adds up.

Yes, I was selling at the craft fair in Dundee, it was very good. I studied Art there over 30 years ago and it was nice to visit the city again.

      Hi
I was at Duncan of Jordanstone too - 1971-1976.
Did our paths cross by any chance?
I did Printed Textiles but I knew some of the jewellers.

Glad you had a good fair at the Caird Hall. Who was the organiser of that one - I might be interested for another time.

        It was organised by http://www.craftfairsscotland.co.uk
Our paths may have crossed although I was there slightly later than you, from 1973 onwards

I was wondering about that one too. Have decided that its a bit far away for me. The table money and petrol money would be quite a spend for a fair.

There were over 1200 people at that craft fair.

Caird Hall stopped allowing these craft fairs for some reason, I only post the number and bump and old post to let people know there is demand for craft fairs like this in Dundee so if anyone is organising and looking for a new location...
