A pal of mine is trying to motivate the ladies section of the above mentioned Club by having gatherings on a Monday evening with crafters demonstrating their craft and then having the opportunity to sell to said ladies. Obviously the more manageable crafts like Jewelers, Cardmakers, Beaders, and anything else you can think of. She is hoping to get up to 20 ladies - even more if it takes off but on the bad side it could be as low as 10 - you know how fickle folk can be. If any local crafters are interested I will put them in touch with my friend. I will also be there so you won't be 'out on a limb'.

I'd definitely be interested in this - please could you pass my details on to your friend?

I would be interested too..... although I'm not sure about the demonstration ("erm, you just stick that on there like that, and voila!!").

I would be interested in coming along and having a look though.

I have pm'd you both. I should mention that this will be a very easy going, friendly, laid back thing. There will be no pressure and you are free to sell what you can. It is all casual, no standing up in front of people (unless you want to). I can't stress enough how easy we will make it for anyone so please give it a try. I am doing a small craft fair there in September for charity and am looking forward to it.

I might be interested but it may be difficult to demonstrate as it can take me hours to finish a piece, and it would get a bit messy!

Would be interested to find out how it goes though
