  • Craft Fairs in Lancashire/yorkshire????

    Hi,
I am new to this forum, but was wondering if anyone could possibly tell me if there are any craft fairs in Lancashire coming up. We are on the Burnley side so are also quite near to west yorkshire/calderdale too. Myself and my friend are thinking of doing stalls at craft fairs for our handmade cards and 3d papercraft items, but have nt been able to find many locally.
    Thanks in anticipation

I don't know whether the Wakefield/Huddersfield area is a bit far for you, but Rosebaskets do craft faris throughout the year at the National Coal Mining Museum.

Other than that, I don't really know of anything local, but I'm in Calderdale, so will be watching the thread with interest!

          Crafty Fox - Really?!

That would explain why his website's been down recently then. I was planning on booking a couple of fairs for later this year as the price was reasonable, and customer numbers were good, but looks like I'm going to have to re-think things then.

              Lots of great links there!
I've looked and looked, and hardly found any craft fair organisers in the region, so this is a great help to me. Thanks!

Anyone interested in new Craft Fair - York

                Hi There,

As a jewellery maker I have been selling at craft fairs this year but I have become very disillusioned with the fairs mainly because the majority of stalls are not selling handcrafted products. I am therefore in the process of organising a craft fair for November with the view to more in the New Year. It will be a one day event in York and if anyone would be interested in more information let me know. The criterea for the fair will be that all products on sale must be hand made by the seller.

Hope to hear from some of you soon.
