I've got to I'm on committee

I have put in competitions in the past but probably won't this year as I don't have anything to show this time. My map certainly won't be ready before we have to say if we're entering anything.

Do you have to say what you are going to enter? Could you say you are going to enter something but you're not sure what it is yet? I can't wait to see this map when it's finished. My mother in law has embroidered maps in the past and that looked difficult....

Well, you have to pick which category you are going to enter and it would be the only thing I would have... I'm not sure I'll get it ready by August! Usually the AGM is in September and I'm a bit more organised. If I be a purist it would be a "quilled picture" but if I did add the odd thing to it then I'd have to have it as "quilling plus". I'm hoping to be a purist with it, but you never know what could happen!

I can't remember how much it is to get in. Probably somewhere in the region of £4-5, I'll have to check tonight if I remember!

What else do you need to know and I'll see what details I can sort out for you.

Only members can attend the AGM and enter the competitions (and vote) but there is usually a good array of trade stands with crafting supplies so I find it useful to stock up there (as it's difficult sometimes to know the difference between yellow, canary yellow and sunshine yellow on an order form!)

                  http://www.quilling-guild.co.uk/member2.htm

Hopefully the website is working - I've just checked now and it is but I have been having problems with it going offline at obscure times.

If not pm me with your email (sorry just noticed it in the thread!) and I'll get a copy of the membership form emailed to you. I know we have a new membership secretary, but if you send it to the one on the website it will get to the right person as we've not long had the changeover and I'm not sure of the new address!
