  • Cream Cloth for Craft Table

Does anyone know where I can get cream cloth from for my craft table, I currently use black but want to lighten my table up at fairs.

    Its generally a 6ft table I use.

Hope its okay to put this in the craft section.

    Many thanks

      Have you tried Dunelm?

Sometimes an easy care bed sheet is a good idea (less ironing)

Definitely Abakhan! I'm a big fan - they are cheap, good quality and delivery is speedy if you order online (I did it recently).

I used to visit their north Wales shop a lot, but if you're anything like me you end up spending a fortune because their bargains are too good to elave on the shelf!

                Good point Alison thank you.

Wendy lol yes I am like you, I love a bargain but I usually end up spending way more than I wanted too so it's not such a bargain in the end, thank you!

Only ever been to the north Wales one. Way, way better than Dunelm for fabric, but not for Dunelm's other stuff - storage and the like. Cheaper too.

The one in N Wales has several shops on one site - a standard fabric shop, a pieces shop, where you buy by weight, but they'll cut whatever you want, another shop where you can buy fabric for literally pennies, a yarn shop, a craft-type shop with threads, quilting fabric, silk paints, etc., and the best of all: market stall type stand with bags of fab stuff in them for 50p (fabric, ribbons, lace) etc. And a cafe. Most important when you've travelled from Cheshire to get there.

Oh God, you've got me all excited now

And I've got no time to visit.

Oh, and if you've got kids, there is a playground.

They've a pretty good website, too. Not as exciting as all that fabric to feel though

Abakhan is best, but do you have a good market? Sometimes it's nice to support the locals and cheap too!

No fabric markets for miles around here - haven't been for many a year, sadly. It has been a declining trade for some time. I think a lot of other people are in the same boat.

Abakhan, although they have a few outlets, are local to some! They offer great choice, value and service, and I'll happily support anyone who offers that!

They started out as rugmakers and I think they may still do that. They started selling their off-cuts, and their business grew from there.

I know I sound a bit like an advert for them, but I can't recommend them highly enough!

I just love them! I am a bit of a fabric junkie though! You would love their shop.

All mine came from charity shops, as bedsheets or curtains or chunks of material... apart from my fancy embroidered hangings, of course!
