Broadstairs (in Kent) Folk Week has a Craft Market all week. Very popular event so you have to book as soon as the previous one is finished -August 2009 for 2010. But you get a week at the sea-side and some great music in all the pubs!

There's the Strawberry Fair in Cambridge http://www.strawberry-fair.org.uk/ on 6th June which I always think has a slight hippy feel to it and is very popular. I noticed on the website they were still advertising for crafters for their craft tent too.

Have you checked out Leamington Peace Festival:

                    http://www.peacefestival.org.uk/

Great event, great food, very family friendly atmosphere. Used to love the event when I lived in Coventry and some of my mates still work on it. Possibly too late for this year but it's not too far from you and well worth a visit.

                    Peace, love and enjoy!!!

I picked up two flyers at the music festival I was at this weekend past.
                          www.alchemyfestival.co.uk in Lincolnshire 18 -20th Sept
                          and
                          www.wadfest.co.uk Retford, Notts. 21st to 23rd August.

The people at my festival were aging hippy, new age and young fairy, pixie, rara skirted, mad hat, family friendly people so I assume the other two festivals would be appealing to the similar minded.

And there's the Big Green Gathering www.big-green-gathering.com Cheshire way where you can throw a blanket on the ground and they charge you according to the amount you display so could only be £10 a pitch. There are lots of restrictions regarding vehicle movements which scuppered it for me as I have a wedding to go to on the Saturday and the cost of tickets and camping are way out of my league.

And this should give you a load more www.efestivals.co.uk/festivals
