I don't know Glenfield very well but I know there is a hall next to Beaumont Leys shopping centre ( as you come out of Wilkinsons on the car park side) , that might be a great place for a xmas fair ...big crowds , no trouble parking

I think the rival markets charter might pop it's head up there?

It's a church hall I think , seperate from the shopping centre. I know friends who have hired it for different reasons but always best to check

The charter cover 6.25 (?) mile radius of markets, as there is a market in Beaumont leys it would be worth a call to the Markets Dept - wouldn't want to get a £300+ bill from LCC

As Beaumont Leys is a general market I can't imagine there being a problem with a Craft Fair as long as it was only crafts but of course you have to ask. There are several community centres dotted around Leicester, there is one at Braunstone but perhaps they are a bit off the beaten track for what you want. I have a cousin who does a lot of volunteer work around the City and would know which halls have the most foot traffic in and out. I can't raise him at the moment but have left a message.
