am taking the opportunity of stock taking and producing new stock whilst its generally quiet after the xmas period.
For us it starts to get busy around March/April time when its a bit warmer and people venture out a bit more.

Hi,
I think it's fair to say that craft events tend to follow the fortunes of the major retailers ...ie Christmas is the time to take money and the first few months of the year are spent spotting customers! And I hate to say it but I think 2009 is going to be especially hard ...I doubt Woolies will be the last casualty!!!
But on a brighter note ...there are always events coming up throughout the year ...birthday's, Valentines and as mentioned ...weddings. But, my personal view is that it tends to be towards Easter before things pick up again. If you did your first events before Christmas and were busy, don't expect it to be like that at an event in the middle of January!!
As dolts007 said, maybe best use the time to re-stock!
Regards.
