Just wondered who has stalls at the craft fair on 13th and 14th December 2008 at Delapre Abbey?

We've got a table booked for both days and are hoping to get a local hotel on the Saturday night to cut down on travelling

That sounds exactly like me!! Problem being I'm out most of tomorrow and anything I don't take for Saturday has had it cos we're staying in the travel inn down there on Saturday night

Today it was cold and wet, with a few drips down the the neck :-). Apparently, the weather is going to be better tomorrow. Hope the takings follow suit. I'm downright stubborn, so today is not putting me off tomorrow. Good luck to the sellers on here who are going.

Well Saturday was awful!! (absolutely no fault of the organisers - blame the weather!!)
Takings were awful, I had a trail of drips running through the middle of my stall and a small pond behind it that got deeper the more it rained! By the time I got home my trousers were soaked to the knees!

But those of us who persevered and braved it again today were, I think, amply rewarded! I had my best takings ever, and met loads of lovely peeps from the forum!

Don't mention the synchronised dancing though! (Full Monty eat your heart out)

Delapre Craft Fair

Hi

To all those lovely people who attended Delapre, I would like to say a big thank you for sticking it out through the wettest of days (mind you not the worst I have experienced )! Fingers crossed for more events next year....watch this space!
