      Hi Vanessa

I'd also like to hear how you got on, it's just up the A1 from me. Did notice that it was on but couldn't find any contact details.

      thanks

I might be organising one for February/March time at Loughborough Town Hall, but I've been unable to ring the venue, and they're not responding to my e-mails. I'll let you know if I get any information.

          Clumber park craft fair

i went to the fair at clumber pak on saturday, the table cost £40 and i didnt really get all my money back, was making the sales and the price of the cards was good, just not the people. it may be down to the weather as very cold.
The fair was in the marque and with one heater!
not sure if id do clumber again unless the cost of the table was cheaper.

Thanks for telling us how it went. It was really cold on Saturday. I did think it might be in a marque, too cold for me unless it's well heated, fair weather person I am, even though I'm selling alpaca scarves.
Sorry to hear you didn't do so well & it being your first craft fair, seems to be the way it is at the moment. I'm sure you'll have better luck in 2009. We did an event in a large old house this week & it was warmer outside even though they had a fire!

Sorry that the fair did not go as well as planned!

I attended Newark Christmas Light Switch on Yesterday (Sunday) it was very well organised and there was a great atmosphere with lots going on. I did make £100 which sounds a lot when I have read how other fairs have gone for people, but it was hard work and people seemed to me as if they had got most of there Christmas presents sorted.

The day was spent outside on a market stall so I was frozen stiff, so again I think that made the day even more hard work.
