Had an absolutely fab time on Saturday at the NEC, it's the first time I've been to a show like this and it was just craft heaven! There aren't many craft shops in my area, so to have everything you could ever want and more was just wonderful, I buy a lot of my products online or off Create & Craft, so to actually be able to see the goods in the flesh so to speak was lovely. Plus being a big Create & Craft fan, I was a bit starstruck as everyone was there, all the companies you see demonstrating on the telly were there, and everyone was so nice - that's crafters for you. Also the lovely Nigel & Stephanie from C&C were there and I had a lovely chat to Nigel, got a photo with him (see below) and a goody bag for my daughter who couldn't come, which was full of card, card blanks, stickers oh all sorts, it was so heavy that my arm is still aching from carrying it around all day.
I spent a fortune, I bought stamps, cuttlebug embossing folders, stencils, stamp blocks, beads, findings oh and so much more. I was absolutely pooped by the end of the day (and so was my credit card
) but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
