  • Cullen Craft Fair 2009

I know it's a tad early but I'm trying to get organised in plenty of time so I'm not running around like a headless chicken & tables are being snapped up fast, anyway to the event-

Sat 11th & Sun 12th July Cullen Ice Cream & Cullen Crafts are running a handmade Craft Fair for the RNLI & Poppy Scotland

Details of tables costs are not decided as we are waiting to find out hall charges but we are taking a list of names so we can contact nearer the time. The Ice Cream shop will be running a soup & sweet on the Sat which will bring in the crowds and there will be a lot of advertising done on the run up to the weekend.
    We have the following attending:

    x2 Handmade Jewellery
    x3 Cards
    Stained Glass
    Soft Furnishings
    Wood Turning
    x2 Photographers
    x2 Water Colour Artist
    Knitted wares & Kilt Bags

Tables will be limited per craft sorry if you fell this is unfair but we have to make sure there is a good mix of crafts, if you would like your name down for a table just give me a shout

Hi Ger, sorry for posting here but am trying to put 2 & 2 together. In the P&J last week was an article about a new knitting group. Is it at your shop?

I'm afraid thats not me but we do have one starting this Sat, the girl who has been running a mobile wool shop once a week has had a few requests for a club, so from Sat 10.30-12.30 you can pop along.
She has a great range of wool and is very very good value, her newest wool is a marble chunky 200g for £2.50!! A local shop very underhandidly got someone to buy a load from her to sell in their shop at £6.50

Would love to see you, if you make it mind and tell me your from the craft forum, the about of peeps who introduct themselves as their user name and I just stare blankly at them lol

Thats the one! I am so looking forward to coming, though from Findhorn not sure how far it would be. I do not know Cullen very well so where would it be in relation to the Ice cream shop?
          Many thanks for your patience
I wonder who that "local shop" might be
          See you Saturday

                Interested in Cullen Fair

I would like to put my name down for Cullen fair if it's not too late. I have only been "in the business" of selling my work for 3 months, although I've been a hobby painter for years. I produce acrylic paintings on canvas and sell these as well as prints, cards, bookmarks and stationery make from the images from these paintings. If you want a look at the kind of stuff I do, I have a website (search under Omand Original) and show items in a gallery there. I live in Fife, but my mother is in Findochty and I'm hoping to do a few craft fairs in that area. I've heard that Cullen craft fair is one of the best so it would be great if I could get in to that one.
