    A word of warning.
Through my interest in all things of local history relating to craft guilds, it seems that Leicester operates the 'rival 'market licence scheme dating back to the 1300's. A licence is required to be paid by any event that has over 4 selling stalls at it in the area of 6.6.miles radius of any market operated by Leicester council. This would seem to explain the lack of events in Leicester. The council cannot stop the event but will pursue the fee for the licence.

very interesting and very typical of Leics not to update records !!!

did you know in Chester, its legal to shoot a Welsh person with a bow and arrow inside city walls after midnight. In Hereford, you may not shoot a Welsh person on Sunday with a longbow in the Cathedral Close

Can't see that defence working in a court of law
Cinderella is proof that a new pair of shoes CAN change your life !!
